In collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, Corteva Agriscience is helping farmers grow food more sustainably while protecting water quality. The initiative will accelerate environmental sustainability, advance soil health and nutrient management, and increase productivity for farmers who operate in the Mississippi watershed.
In partnership with Pheasants Forever and the National 4-H Council, Corteva Agriscience is supporting monarch butterfly and pollinator habitats at our locations throughout the United States. Through this program, we will engage 4-H youth to help increase pollinator habitats and populations, supporting biodiversity.
To optimize wildlife habitats, Corteva Agriscience has established a partnership with Ducks Unlimited to donate excess sunflower seed production. The program provides small wildlife with food plots, from simple strips to a couple of acres of either mono or mixed vegetation.
In partnership with food industry leader Danone and six other leaders across the agricultural value chain, Corteva Agriscience is supporting farmers in adopting regenerative agriculture practices. The Farming for Generations alliance identifies, tests and shares best-in-class practices and innovations to support dairy farmers in addressing key environmental and health challenges.
On October 15 2018 Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, received a 2018 Green Chemistry Challenge Award for Rinskor™ active, a rice herbicide. Corteva Agriscience and its heritage companies are no stranger to winning Green Chemistry Challenge Awards. This will be the sixth win for the heritage businesses that now make up Corteva.
